Shares of mutual funds.I I wondered what the difference between an investment adviser and a?
Representative? The reason I ask is that I have my representative's name, but I have a name for my investment adviser .. Any suggestions of ideas?
An investment adviser will continue to try sell some of its financial products business, but will be more of a freedom to guide the stock options otherwise you may have. They charge a fee for the recommendations and transactions. So I say more impartial. Its typical investment representative is someone who works through the products of their own business and earns a commission for their money. However they are paid, mainly for long they can stay with the product (mutual funds). Personally, I find a representative more schematic investment to cope because they earn their wages through these committees. This is why his best interests and his rarely coincide. They may, for example, enclose in a mutual fund of 7 years for $ 10K of your money, and get on board with that, they get paid on day 1 about $ 1K-$ 3k. Depending on how long they can lock you in, front-load or rear-load commission. This has fallen out of favor as people are more informed choices. Although this also lead people who know the price of everything and the value of nothing. I hope that helps
