How is finding a financial planner?
I'm at that point in life where I think I have to go over my retirement things with someone with much more insight financing but then I have not a clue how to find a financial advisor and am not rich and just want to make sure that I am doing is best for me. My friends all seem to be using a relative of them and my family refuse to talk about anything having to do with money.
I would ask your friends who use and see if they can get in touch with their financial adviser. The bottom line is you need to find someone you can trust and the first place you should look for is to see who your trusted friends. Some financial advisers out there who just lookout for themselves. However, there very good financial advisors out there, just look for them. Make sure your advisor is financially strong companies.
